Christmas outfit - Stylefruits for Serious Request

Zara coat, scarf - Paul's jumper - Present necklace - Primark shorts - Vintage backpack - Dr. Martens shoes
Have a very mery, happy, lovely, Christmas!

Outfit - Little lights, black velvet and big scarfs

Oasap skirt - Pull&Bear jumper - Zara scarf - Vintage necklace, watch - Dr Martens shoes
These photographs are a little like how I am lately: blurred. There is so much going on and a lot to do for school so: I'm watching The Vampire Diaries non stop. Then after a few episodes (read: seasons) I remember there's lots and lots to do. I don't want to whine upon the blog, but on the other hand nothing can ever be 'perfect' and that is forgotten sometimes while blogging. But, Christmas is almost here, there are snow-lights in my room (and lots of chocolate), I just ate the best pasta pesto and only one (one!!) week until the hollidays! And I can't wait for them to arrive. Are you as exited as I am?
Now a little about the outfit. I thought why not try to make photographs inside, by myself, and while sitting. Just to do things differently. The new black velvet skirt is new and from Oasap. I still love velvet but somehow putting this outfit together was a little hard. I combined the skirt with a fine jumper and the biggest and warmest scarf ever. The scarf is bordeaux red but on the photos it looks a little darker. Actually the entire set of photos are a bit dark. Though I like them, I think. What about you? Do you like this 'outfit' post?

Interior - Round my hometown memories are fresh

Aah today I bought a coat hanger and I'm so happy with that one! It was only 1.29 euros and you can just hang it on your door and then that's it! You can see it on the first picture. Now that my coats are on the door my only chair is free of clothes and coats I can finally sit on it! So this coat hanger is the highlight of my day because all the other to do's for today are school thingies. While avoiding my to do's I thought why not a little room post again. Those little lights are new too and they are so lovely and wintry, if that is a word (yes it is, I just looked it up). The rail and the record player are my all time favourites. Yesterday Paul was here and that day and the whole weekend was so lovely, but on this rainy monday the weekend already seems so long ago. Then again the rain on my window with some cinnamon tea is lovely too! How was your weekend? And what do you think of these photos?

Whislist - Knitted dress and vintage backpack

Yayy friday again! I was wondering around in some webshops and found my old wishlist from Oasap. While searching for new items to add I found this beautiful knitted dress. It just is perfect: super big, probably cosy, warm and knitted. Though I wonder how this dress would suit me. But I've been looking for a knitted dress a while now, so maybe this is the one! Something for my Christmas wishlist perhaps, just like that vintage backpack! That one would also go well with the dress and then combined with a floppy hat some jewelrey and ofcourse some Dr. Martens. Tonight I'll be celebrating a little 'sinterklaas' at home and later at Paul's. I love the 'giving' part of these days and everyone is so kind. The Christmas fever hit me and I love it, just like I love making some Christmas wishlists. At the same thime it is making me very materialistic and I try not to be, but there are so many lovely things everywhere!

Outfit - Winter wanderlust

Zara skirt - H&M knit - Sheinside coat - Dr. Martens shoes - Paul's necklace
Reached 400 followers, yayy that made me so happy, thankss!
Whiehh a new outfit post! I went outside to take some pictures and it already felt like winter, and that is a very (!) nice thing. I think I like winter even better then autumn and then especially the white snow, huge knits and the Christmas time. Finally there is a christmas feeling coming up and I've bought snowflake lights for my room. And I can't wait to wander around in white cites with little lights. Yet when looking outside autumn is still here. I really wanted to show this outfit because it love this one and I've been wearing this skirt a lot lately.
Unfortunately the outfit didn't fit the brown autumn atmosphere, but when I made the photos b&w they were perfect(for as far they can be that). Love how the last two photos turned out. For the first photo, I like to flaunt my hair, haha, not really. Somehow talking about that, my hair has grown (a little) and that made me so happy. Talking about the outfit, this is my new winter coat, it is soft, comfy and big and all of that together is lovely, you will see the colour of it some other time. I put the coat over my favourite winter skirt, a warm black knit and my new favourite shoes. Wearing this skirt it always feels like I wear a piece of jewelery. What do you think of this outfit? And what about outfit photographs in black & White?

Instagram 011 - all of autumn

Hi there Monday, today I had to wake up so early and I long for the weekend already, hihi! The weekend went by so fast. But on the other hand: a brand new week, with all new thingies. Like new episodes of tvd (I've started just yet and almost finished season 2), new odds (going to the new Hunger Games this week) and hopefully at the end of the week I'll have my driver license (so nervous). Well, here are some Instagram photos from lately. Have a lovely week!
1. Lovely Antwerp, going there again after Christmas 2. Love this comfy outfit 3. Happy feet 4. From where I stand, wearing the lovely Dr. Martens and my Double Agent shorts 5. Listening to some records 6. Outfit photograph 7. Went to Go Back To The Zoo last saturday and they were amazing! 8. Some sketches and inspiration in my dummy 9. Vintage shopping with Anna!

Wishlist - Double Agent dark grey

Every time I am supposed to do some school work or studying I find myself ending up on webshops. This time I filled my Double Agent basket with lots of lovely items, these are a few of my favourites from their webshop. The first photo is absolutely my favourite and I wish I had that outfit hanging in my closet. Also Double Agent has amazing shorts, can't wait to get one. Ah and last: love the colour of the jumper on the second photo. That dark grey colour gets more and more lovely, if that is a right sentence haha. It is a little different and I think this colour will match bordeaux red very well. It is a shame that Double Agent's shipping cost is a bit high (9 euros), but maybe I will order something and then I will definitely go for some new shorts (or the jumper, or the playsuit aah)! Do you get distracted by webshops so much too?

Analog set 002 - You are more then a now

A new 'analog set', these thingies are used and loved a lot lately. I put these items together on my favourite carpet and they look just fine together. I got the cactuses (or cacti) from anna and put them in some vintage cups, in the photo they lay on the carpet but for now they are standing by the window. Then there is tea, some stone-rings and moroccanoil which I really love too. The oil makes your hair so soft and it smells lovely. And then my pointe shoes. There is a love-hate relationship with them, hihi. I'm still in Ballet classes (since I was 5) and I still love it, do you dance too? And then the last remaining thing is Ben Howard's new vinyl, I'm in love with all of his songs and really can't wait to see him this november!  For now: tgif! There is only a small class later and then it will be weekend. Have a lovely one!

Outfit - Everything starts from a dot

Brandy Melville cardigan - Primark shorts - New Look top - Pull&Bear bag - Dr. Martens shoes
Finally a new outfit! Outfit-posts are my favourite but I'm very picky when it comes to shooting photos. Because I think the background should really match the outfit. And my home doesn't do that, hihi. A few days ago I went to the city with Paul. In the older parts of Nijmegen we shooted these photographs. Old buildings or old places in general are always perfect for outfit photos. Anyways about the outfit now. I've been wearing this outfit a lot lately. Especially the dotted shorts, they are perfect for any occasion and that's why I love them, I combined them with a simple white tee and my all time favourite Brandy Melville cardigan. This piece is so comfy and lovely and everything, hihi. Thereby.. I'm wearing my new shoes! Bought the low Dr. Martens and they made me so happy. So this is one of my favourite outfits from lately. Last week I had a week off and this week I'm back in my own place and I'm starting with a new semester. What do you think of this outfit?

Outfit ideas - Vintage dreamer

bright ideas
So I started creating some outfits again on Polyvore, the last time I made an outfit there seems ages ago. Maybe I can make this a returning post, what do you think? But I found this amazing dress and this lovely coat from Oasap and thought, why not? This coat looks so lovely, I like that it looks a bit oversized, the collar and the fact that the coat is open in the front. I think this coat can be wore with anything. And there are many, many, more coats i love. Maybe I have to admit a wintercoat addiction since I've ordered a new one for this winter.
These two pieces are combined with some lovely dr. martens (yes you are going to see those a lot on the blog). And some accessories that can't be left, in the colour of the dress. Ahh that dress is slowly coming up to my wishlist while writing this post. It is so lovely and looks a bit vintage too. Speaking of vintage, I put a new roll of film in one of my analog camera's! Can't wait to see how they'll turn out. What do you think of this outfit?

Dr. Martens

Yess these new shoes deserve a whole blog post, still this evening. After long doubts, thinking and most of all dreaming, I bought these Dr. Martens. They already look so lovely on the photo, and then you haven't even seen them on. They give every outfit something special and extra. Like a simple outfit becomes everything but simple when you put these on. The black leather is beautiful and I knew right away that I loved the low ones more. I've been wearing them non stop lately, which is important because you really need to run in them. I'm just in love with my new shoes and that had to be said. Sooon there will be an outfit post online with these! What do you think of Dr. Martens? And would you prefer low ones or the higher ones?

Instagram 010 - Running round in love

Ah my last Instagram post is already a while ago, so there are three extra photographs. Also because they fit the other six. Lately there have been online lovely thingies. 1. Paul and I went for breakfast in this lovely 'living room society' cafe The Fuzz, it's amazing there: a high ceiling with flowers and lots of vintage things. 2. Anna came to see my new room! We had a lovely day in the city. 3. Winter wardrobe on the rail. 4&5. Love these photos of my room. 6. Anna and I had brownies, cheesecake and tea at Daen's in Utrecht, also very vintage and lovely. 7. Aaah the amazing Brother and Bones, his voice is beautiful. 8. Some views of my school project. 9. Monday Paul and I were 5 years together and we had the perfect day! And I have to put this upon here: he got us tickets for Ben Howard! And I'm so happyyy! Can't wait to see him live and listen to the beautiful new songs and ofcourse the old ones. This week is test week so there will be a little studying but it will be okay! What do you think of these photos? And are you so in love with Ben Howard's music as I am?

Mineral Admiration

I can not keep my eyes off of these illustrations. For a school assignment we have to do something with illustrators, when I went searching up some, I found these amazing pieces from Karina Eibatova. Looking upon her website/online portfolio there are a lot more illustrations so if you fall for these (just like I did) certainly take a look there for more!
The way she uses the watercolor paint is amazing, I love the colors she uses and how they are combined. The stones truly shine and they are very dreamy and maybe even seem like magic. She sais her inspiration comes from nature: landscapes, the universe and essential things like these stones. I feel like these colours and this style are close to me. Thereby she makes something very new out of 'existing' stones. Right now I would love to try watercolor too and make things like these! What do you think of her work?

Just feel, and if it feels like home, then follow it's path

Finally I have time to breathe, and blog, again! Last week there were two big deadlines for school. Now autumn-break is here and this post will be fully about my nem room/interior! With al this time I took photographs of my new room in Utrecht. The most important thing to say about it is that I'm so happy and so in love with how my room turned out. As you can see I got the beloved lace curtains, also my rail is al setteled up and I have a new bed. A single one beacause my room is too small for a bigger one. But this bed is just fine and there is room for thingies beneath. Don't you love my lace and the knitted plaid?
There are two big things in the room: the colour white and wood. I'm so happy with the wooden floor and also with the diagonally wood they bring something cosy. And to give all this white some colour I have my clothing rail, two persian carpets, a dark-red cupboard for the turntable, and some little coloured details. I really love how it turned out, the vintage element which I love is also very clear. What do you think of my room? And are you living on your own too?

Outfit - Words mean more at night

Vintage bag & cardigan - Brandy Melville tshirt-dress - H&M floppy hat - Cos chelsea boots - Selfmade bracelets

A new outfit! I put some of my favourite fall colours together in one outfit: knitted burgundy-red, black and some brown leather. This tshirt-dress is so comfy it is like wearing pyjamas and still look nice. It is a bit short though so I wear it with some shorts underneath. The cardigan and bag are vintage and I love the fact that they give a little colour to my outfit. The cardigan is really warm: the wind won't get through, so that is perfect for these colder days! Ah and you can't see the necklace that good, but it is a stone necklace I got from Paul and I love it so much! You can see it better in this post.
I shot the photos with Anna again, so if you're reading Anna: thankss :). It was already getting dark when we were shooting, and there were some staring people that past by, akward! Thereby they are a bit blurry but maybe that is what I love about these photos. I edited them with a rusty layer for a little bigger vintage effect. Especially the photo in the middle is lovelt, where you see me walking alway. I love the atmosphere in that one! What do you think of these photos being not really scharp? And about the outfit?

Instagram 009 - Vintage autumn atmosphere

Ahh I just love this selection of photographs! As you can see, autumn is really taking over my Instagram page and that didn't even happend on purpose. There are so many lovely thingies about autumn: warm colours, ofcourse tea (in all kind of autumn flavours), jumpers, rain against the (laced) window when you fall asleep, autumn cookies, like that we can go on forever. The only thing less is the rain. I think it is my favourite season, but thereby I say that at every season.
Here is a little about the photographs. 1. From where I stand, with all the coloured leaves 2. Vintage tea time, I love liquorice tea lately 3. This photo is my favourite, this is (a sneak peek) in my new room! I'm so happy with the lace curtains and the rail, actually with everything 4. Some more room details 5. Ordered new polaroids at Printic again. Love how these look together, I want to put them on a wall or on the door. 6. The last selfie in my old room. My outfit inspiration is so simple or black lately (as you can see). Any tips for not having a simple outfit? And do you love autumn as much as I do?

Hear the birds on an autumn breeze

Everytime I get stuck or out of inpiration, actually even when I don't, I'll go to pinterest and find sooo many lovely thingies there. It is full of inpiration, look at these pictures. I love those lace curtains! I got lace curtains for my room too. Can't wait to see the sun through the lace, that must be so lovely! The colours of the minerals are amazing and then I would love to visit that blue place with all the birds. Today there is school til 17:30, that is the worst thing, haha. I hope I'll survive it. Afterwards I'll be in my room (this night will be my first there), drinking cinnamon tea and listening to some records. That is something perfect for this windy, rainy autumn day. Hope you have a nice week!

More room inspiration

Ahh I'm finding (and searching up) soo much inspiration for my new room! And I fall in love with every single photograph. I stumbeld on Diana's blog: Cruel Thing, and her room is exactly (okay almost exactly) how I have in head how my room is going to be. Look at how pretty her clothing rail is, just a hang-up to the wall and clothes sorted on colour. And thereby I fell in love with the little white wall-closet filled with green, I'm searching up a little closet like that one to do the same :) And for the last photo: that table is perfect for a record player. Furthermore, I'm in school a lot, and doing school at home, but saturday I'm going to THE1975! Aahh and I'm so exited. Anyone who is going too?

Analog set 001 - Only time is ours, the rest we'll just wait and see

So I made this sort of analog set. Yesterday I went to IKEA for new items for my new room! I'm going to move out and I'm scared and exited at the same time! But wandering through IKEA and finding room-inspiration I can't wait until I get the keys. I got the lovely white jars at IKEA (bought a lot more there though), the rest are some new thingies and some favourites from lately. The green jumper is the best thing ever, it is soft, comfy and the cables are so pretty! The bag is new and I've been wearing those white shoes again. And how beautiful is the stone necklace? I got that one from Paul. A dummy and camera can never be missed. The favourite song is the new one from Ben Howard: I forget where we were, wel actually all the new songs. Ooh and I got the lovely carpet from my grandma. I really can't wait to decorate my room and live in it. I have in mind exactly how it should be. Maybe I'll do a room tour when that room is my new home! What do you think of these favourites?

Outfit - Roses, Bell air, take me there.

Urban Outfitters playsuit - Brandy Melville cardigan - Things I Like, Things I Love tote bag - COS chelsea boots - Vintage watch - Selfmade bracelets
I've been listening to Lana's first album so much lately, I got her vinyl for christmas two years ago. I love The Lucky Ones. Do you know that song? Vinyl gives so much better and a more 'real' sound. Annd  there was time to make some outfit photos again, (probably the last bare-legs-outfit) these are what came out of that! My first outfit upon here with my Brandy Melville Caroline cardigan, this lovely is where I live in lately. It it so soft and comfy and than I haven't said that it actually fits anything I wear. So yes, this is my best purchase! This time I combined it with a red paisly printed playsuit from Urban Outfitters, ofcourse chelsea boots and a black tote bag. I'm trying to wear less black, and combining something colourful with another colour instead of black. Aah almost forgot to tell you about this place, it is so lovely, a vintage building with these beautiful roses, perfect for some outfit photos, love how the roses are a little matching the playsuit! What do you think of this outfit?

Instagram 008 - Festivals, cities and sketches

Thank god it's friday, time for a new Instagram post and for weekend! I thought this week was never ending and there was (and still is) so much school work that had to be done. I made parts of that yesterday but I still have thingies to do. But it is interesting so it is not the end of the world. These are some Instagram pictures from lately: 1. making a moodboard for school about myself and fonts 2. Last sunday was Pauls birthday and we went to Appelpop that weekend! Appelpop is a Dutch festival (for free!!) with lots of amazing artists. 3. From where we stand at Appelpop with Janne. 4. At the local "summer-festivals" with Willemijn, the weather was great that day! Just like this week. 5. Beautiful Nijmegen, I really dream to live there in a house like these someday. 6. Sketching again for the creative class. Today I have creative class too, we're going to do something with photography. And for the rest of the weekend a birthday, work, school and I hope to go to the woods with Paul! How are you going to spend your weekend? And what do you think of these photos?

Dreaming away, heading to an own place

Today, I was thinking about looking up some inspiration photos for a, possible, new room. A place for my own, decorated by the things I like and love. While finding these photographs I have more and more will to move out, just because there is so much fun and beauty decorating something new. I love the soft white-tinted colours, the light fabrics and the beautiful lace, that combined with persian carpets,  some foreign influences, warm autumn colours, rough or natural wood on the floor and in decoration. Now and then a little gold, some plants and flowers, my dad's recordplayer and some vintage items. Yes I know exactly how my own place is going to be. Do you live on your own already?

Wishlist - Autumn is a second spring

I can tell that I'm studying again: I get distracted by webshops and put all those lovely clothing in my basked, and then ending up deleting it all. School has really started again and I'm so busy to keep it up. But I like what I have to do so that is a good thing. For the creative class we have to make a self-portrait through a font, such a lovely assignment! If it will work out well there'll come a post about it maybe.
These are some of the items that ended up in my Forever21 basket. A bit summer-ish but with some fine knits for autumn. I love the 3th photograph and outfit, I want that cardigan so much! Unfortunately it is already sold out. Maybe it'll come back soon. Ah and look at the printed shorts, they will go for an autumn outfit with some tights too! And I love the colour of the crop: Olive. I'm thinking about getting some new colours like this one. Do you get distracted easily too while studying?

Outfit - She's a half-written poem

Brandy Melville crop top, shorts - Primark sandals - Vintage sunnies - Porch People tote bag
Oh well, another outfit from Italy. That is a long time ago but I was looking back at the holliday photographs and saw that I forgot about these outfit photos! I bought this short and shirt in Rome, Brandy Melville. I showed the shorts in a new in post a while ago, and here is an outfit with those. I fell in love with the print so much. Thinking about thingies to discribe this amazing short I can't get a reason, it just is perfect, haha! I comined them with black, the crop top has an amazing soft fabric. And for a little less black the tote bag. The outfit is verry summer-ish, but with some tights boots and a fine cardigan it will also go for winter I think. What do you think of this outfit?

DIY - Replace fear by curiosity

Wow I've been so busy lately. I had the introduction of my new study, we went on a camp and yesterday I met my new whole class. I was so excited but so nervous before. Afterwards there is no need of being nervous. Everything will just go it's way. So therefore I love the quote "replace fear by curiosity" Tuesday the classes will start and the holliday will be over. Too bad, but at the same time I can't wait to do something, learn, sea and do new things!
Anyways, about this photograph, I made these bracelets myself! Marlou took me to Beadies a cute litte shop in Utrecht and they sell an amazing amount of beads. Looking around there I wanted to make lots and lots of bracelets, the shop gives lovely inspiration. So I sought out the beads I loved and in the train on my way back home I started making them. Now I already have these three, and I really like them. Can't wait to make different ones in other colours and styles! What do you think of these? And are you starting a new study too?
